FCHM members provide a major part of our annual operating income. Please join
or consider inviting a friend to join.  Each membership contributes to the ongoing
programming of the museum and helps to maintain the library and archives.
Membership allows you free admission to the historical museum, library, and
village, reduced rates for museum-sponsored events, a quarterly newsletter, and
because of your support, the museum, and library remain open and available to

The Freeborn County Historical Museum, Library & Village is proud to be part of Blue Star Museums, which gives us a chance to thank our military families
for their service and share with them America's cultural treasures. Blue Star Museums is a partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star
Families, and more than 1,300 museums across America to offer free admission to all active duty military personnel and their families from Memorial Day
through Labor Day. The free admission program is available to active-duty military and their immediate family members (military ID holder and five
immediate family members). Active duty military include Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and active duty National Guard and active duty
